OK, You Have a Dream - What Next? Take Action!

So now you have your birds in the bush or more appropriately in mind. But, damn it, how to get in the hand at least one of them! Motivational Thoughts is a great place to start, but unless you carry it through visualization and to the point where you can take action, you are just going to be spinning your wheels. Taking action is the part where you get yourself in gear and take off. The bad news are it can be scary, it will almost certainly be difficult, but the truth of the matter is that it is a step that you need to take. There are tons of trainings, books, articles and other kinds of advices around but no one is going to do it for you. But there are good news too - when you take action and turn your Motivational Thoughts into a reality, it might turn out to be much simpler than you originally thought. And there is only four main things you must stick with.

Number one. This part is disregarded as often as not, if you have no information or knowledge enough about your goal you won't reach it. When you are ready to take the bull by the horns, start by searching and putting together all the involving information that you need to know about your goal. You aren't going to start a great business just on the basis of the lemonade stand that you ran in kindergarten and you won't get fit by running frantically until you drop. Too many people jump in feet first, but then they realize that not only are they drowning, they're not even in the right pool! Learn as much as you can about your goal and a way to get it.

Number two (prior point will help to do this more better). Plan out what needs to happen for you to get there. Break down your goal into smaller steps. Of course you want to get all and now like any normal man alive:-). But when you don't get it you are frustrated, angry, or _______ (you fill in). After all you feel like a lam duck and either damn yourself or blame the whole world. Splitting your road to your main goal into smaller steps will help you to move on much comfortable. Every reaching of this small points will allow you to feel a winner in you. Your self-confidence will grow by progress. If you have done your information gathering well, you'll find that you are in a great place to really see what you need to do when it comes to planning. Planning will help you see the bumps in the road and it will allow you to find solutions for successful reaching your goal.

Number three (the toughest one). It is all a matter of self discipline and flexibility. The problem is that many people who are quite self-disciplined have is that they cannot deal with change. If something happens on the way to your goal, are you going to be able to roll with it? Can you make sure that you are going to be to cope with any changes that occur and can you get the right kind of results from your work? You must be able performing changes promptly where appropriate.

Number four (actually there's only three points but this one is sooo vital). So, self discipline again. You must have the determination to stick it out and you must be ready to make sacrifices for the goals that you came up with. There is a difference between having the world work against you or having some bad luck that you need to get over and simply missing the boat due to laziness. Just (and only at the same time) sticking with previous points will lead to results you need. Every miss is a result of weak performance. Without a self-discipline no one of all kinds of trainers or motivation gurus could lead you to your goal. You can plan until the end of the world, but unless you have self-discipline, you are never going to get anywhere. If you have some weakness in this case it could (no - must!) be your first goal.

At the end of the day this is where the real work is going to be done. Create and keep up your Motivational Thoughts, take action and make sure that you get the results that you need. Just one tip else - now is the time to concentrate (we will revert to the theme of concentration in one of the further articles and you will find about one good method of increasing ability of concentration) on performance not feelings, because when you take action those can bother as often as not. 110% accomplishment of every step will lead you to your goal definitely. It's going to be tough, but it's going to be exciting, so get ready for the time of your life!
