First, do not overestimate the power of motivation. If you are not moving the right direction or following the right plan or set of principles to get where you want, no motivation will help. In fact, your frustration will simply increase as you push yourself harder and harder without getting where you want to go. It is always better to stop and ask for directions if you are not getting where you want than it is stop and fill up on gas again.
Second, take some time to relax and recharge. If you are trying to do nothing but go and go and go then you are going to move a lot slower. Taking time off is the key to recharging and getting the creative imagination going again so that it can build the vision which will compel you to keep going. Don't worry about the fact that you may be 'wasting time' more time is wasted with unproductive business than was ever wasted doing 'nothing'.
Finally, make sure that the thing which you are doing is really what you want. Motivation is really not a problem for anyone when they are doing what they really want to do with their life. If you find that you are constantly trying to force yourself to get up and get going then you are not doing the right thing with your time. People work themselves into exhaustion and even into the grave this way. If you are not doing what you want it is time to reset.
If you feel that you are lacking the drive to get up and get going again, these are the principles which will get you back on track today. Take each one of them and work on making them a part of your lifestyle and personal philosophy. In time, you will find that lack of motivation is not even an issue.
