Taking on a Challenge

Whenever life presents a challenge, don't ignore it just embrace it. It is being put in your life for a reason and until you face it, it will surface again and again. Some people face financial challenges while others experience health or career difficulties. Life is filled with them and it's only to help you grow.

Athletes face the challenge of winning at their chosen sport. It might be running a race or marathon and competing with other champions. It might push them beyond their normal capacity to reach for something bigger. Ask any athlete what if feels like to finally hit their own personal goal and they'll tell you, it was an incredible journey.

The thrill of victory can never be replaced with anything else. I believe there's a certain adrenaline rush that happens whenever you finish and hit your goal. You feel that because you took on the challenge and pushed yourself to victory. It's a test of endurance and perseverance where others may stop or quit; you move ahead and break through the barrier.

Think of what Michael Phelps, the record breaking Olympic gold metal winner, experienced after taking on the challenge of being the world's fastest swimmer! Absolute euphoria, I'm sure.

Nothing is more exhilarating than setting a goal and making it happen. Regardless of what challenges present themselves to you, grab it and hold on until you hit the finish line. No one can ever take away your accomplishments.

Set your mind to whatever you want to achieve and go get it. Don't let anyone ever tell you that your dream or goal isn't that important because it's not up to them. YOU control your own destiny and YOU have the ability to take on the challenge!
