I believe we all have the ability to be stronger when the need arises. Of course, it's much easier to say you can't do it anymore than to push yourself just a little more.
I remember reading the famous poem that a father wrote to his son called, "Get Up and Win the Race." It's about a boy who was running in a race with other stronger competitors. Each one of them was able to sprint through the race, passing one another with ease. Unfortunately, the young boy kept tripping and falling but could only hear what his dad would be saying from the sidelines, "Don't quit son, just get up and win the race." Each time he would fall, his father's voice was loud and clear in his head pushing him to continue until he reached the finish line.
What motivates you?
I often hear my children cheering me on, letting me know how proud they are of their mom. Sometimes I hear my husband saying, "you can do this, don't give in or surrender. You are a strong woman." It's because of them that I can continue to find the strength to accomplish my dreams.
